Oral Health Coalition

• educate and inform the community, human service providers, and medical providers of the need for perinatal oral health care
• decrease barriers and increase access to oral health care for pregnant women.

The Coalition is developing a guide to health insurance coverage for oral health care and a listing of providers who accept Medicaid. The Coalition partners with WIC to provide oral health information to pregnant and parenting women and is producing consumer education materials for use by provider and community groups.
