The Perinatal Network of Monroe County exists to improve the health and well-being of pregnant women, their babies, and their families. We focus our efforts on reducing racial and ethnic disparities in birth outcomes because these disparities drive the overall health of our community.
PNMC Initiatives:
- Coordinate community efforts to address specific maternal-child health issues
- Train health and human service providers in how to identify and address perinatal issues
- Share information with the community, including consumers and providers
- Provide support services to pregnant and parenting women, including care coordination, group and individual support sessions, and life skills classes
We invite you to explore the information on this site and to contact us for more information or to learn about ways you can help.
Perinatal health: If we get this right, all things are possible. If we get this wrong, we spend a lifetime playing catch-up.
